We love to expose our kids to different aspects of life beyond the school grounds, and their sense of adventure is totally contagious!

Our most recent outing was a visit to our local Fire Station. We think the work these brave men and women do is admirable, and they are worthy role-models to our youngsters.

For some of the kids, this outing seemed to be a dream come true! There was a lot of excitement in the air as they got to test out the hose (with supervision, of course) and whooped over the gigantic firetruck!

Perhaps we have a few future-firemen in our midst! All in all, it was a great day. We want to extend a BIG thank you to the Somerset West Fire Station for the work they do, and for taking the time to get involved with our kids 🙂
